The Story

A year after her mother's fatal car accident, Arden Knox still blames herself for the text she sent that night. When she begins to suspect the crash is tied to the cold-case murder of a teenage girl, she picks up the investigation her mother left behind, using ARGUS, the forensic AI her mother accessed through the family's documentary work with the Corsicana police.

The search pulls her back to Caleb Stevens, the first love she pushed away. As the danger closes in, they must unmask a killer no one in town would suspect, and find their way back to each other before Arden becomes the next target.
